Brent crude oil prices fell below $80 a barrel on Monday for the first time since February after an OPEC+ meeting where members agreed that countries could begin to roll back voluntary production cuts from October.

The nearest Brent futures contract fell 2.2 percent to $79.35 by 1400 GMT, settling at around $80.32, while the U.S. WTI contract fell 1.0 %, to $76.19.
