One person was rushed to hospital after suffering head injuries in the crash in Bradford

One person has been left with head injuries after an early morning crash in the Great Horton area of ​​Bradford.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Gathorne Street, just off Great Horton Road, at 12.13pm today (Tuesday, June 4).

Two cars crashed and one person was trapped, the fire department said.

One person was taken to hospital with head injuries after being rescued from the car.

Two other people were already out of the vehicle when firefighters arrived.

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped.

“One victim with head injuries was freed by firefighters and taken to hospital by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

“Two victims got out of the vehicle when the firemen arrived.

“Teams made the place safe.”
