Highway 400 derailment snarls traffic in Barrie, delays expected

Police are investigating a crash on Highway 400 in the northbound lanes just north of Mapleview Drive in Barrie Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 2 p.m., OPP officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover involving a pickup truck with a trailer.

Because the investigation is in its early stages, police have not said if there were any injuries or if charges may be filed. However, traffic delays are likely, with police noting it will take some time to clear the area.
