Sheffield shooting: Man arrested after shots fired at home

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after “several shots” were fired at a property in Sheffield, police said.

Firearms officers were dispatched to Gresley Road in Lowedges at approximately 10.40pm BST on April 24. No injuries were reported.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He has been released on bail while the investigation continues, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said.
