June marks the month of Pride Month, and we’ve rounded up some of the top events happening in the Magic City. Get ready for exciting parades, drag parties and some great local benefits.

1. 45th Annual Central Alabama Pride Parade | June 8

  • What the: Birmingham’s 45th anniversary celebration is a fan favorite – the Central Alabama Pride Parade. Starting at 8 p.m., this Mardi Gras-style parade will roll down 7th Avenue S.
  • When: Saturday, June 8 | 8 IN THE EVENING
  • Where: 7th Ave S (from 32nd St to 22nd St)
  • Cost: Free of charge

2. LGBTQ+ Youth Ball | June 14

  • What the: Calling all LGBTQ youth and allies—The Magic City Acceptance Center is hosting a very special prom. With music, food, crafts and more, this year’s theme is glitter and all things shiny.

3. Loud & Proud Pride After Party | June 8

  • What the: Continue the Pride celebrations with a star-studded after party at Saturn. Featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race star Roxxxy Andrews and several local drag queens, this will be a night to remember.

4. Pride Glow Bowling | June 6

  • What the: Ready, ready, shine! Come to Bowlero on Highway 280 for a night of cosmic bowling fun. Admission includes unlimited bowling and free shoe rental.

5. Pride Milk & Honey | June 7

  • What the: Celebrate pride in style with Milk & Honey, Alabama’s largest inclusive party for all gender identities, preferences and sexual orientations. Benefiting Central Alabama Pride, this Friday night dance party will feature DJ Stevo Blaque, David X Daisy and more.
  • When: Friday, June 7 | 8 IN THE EVENING

6. Pride Drag Brunch | June 8

  • What the: Don’t miss this year’s biggest drag brunch with RuPaul’s Drag Race star Axel Andrews and Shannel. Pour the mimosas and get ready for a good time.

7. The 45th annual PRIDEFEST | June 9

  • What the: Come out to Linn Park on Sunday, June 9 for a pride celebration. With food trucks, youth activities and entertainment galore, this event will be fun for the whole family. Don’t miss special musical guests Adina Howard and Robin S.

8. Empower Latinex with Love | June 13

  • What the: Celebrate Pride Month with Birmingham’s first Latinx-led pride celebration. Enjoy food, music and live performances benefiting AIDS Alabama.

9. Finding My Rainbow Launch Party | June 12

  • What the: Celebrating his release Finding my rainbow from author Josh Coleman, a children’s book about acceptance and pride, this launch party will be held at the Magic City Acceptance Center on Wednesday, June 12.
