Leeds boss Farke is ‘very proud’ after FA Cup defeat at Chelsea

The Blues won 3-2 thanks to Conor Gallagher’s last minute goal.

Farke said afterwards: “Really proud of that performance but congratulations to Chelsea they were clinical today.

“In the second half we had more possession, more shots on goal and more expected goals.

“We left out a lot of key players and young players in the central spots Mateo Joseph (did well) Archie Gray, 17, in midfield (did well) and for that I am proud of their performances.

“It wasn’t by chance that we scored the second goal, we wanted to dominate possession to keep our beliefs – many compliments to my lads.”
