RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Dani Olmo has recently been linked with a move to Liverpool, along with other top European clubs such as Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

The Spaniard has been a reliable player for his current club since signing in 2020 and could now look to take the next step in his career after proving himself in the Bundesliga.

Asked about recent links about his future, Olmo told Mundo Deportivo: “I’m calm and focused on what’s next, which is the Euro Cup, which is no small thing. It’s clear that it’s good to see your name linked to the big the teams in Europe and the world, that’s what motivates me, but I’m focused on the Euros and hopefully we’ll come back with the trophy. Then we’ll see.

“It’s nice to see your name linked to the big ones, but I insist, nothing bothers me. I’m focused on the pitch and then whatever has to be, will be.”

The ECHO’s Theo Squires recently reflected on Olmo’s career, suggesting why a deal may not materialize for the 26-year-old.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento.

Sports Zone suggested the Reds face competition from Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan, with the 24-year-old “ready to come to Europe”.
