Plans in place to install a permanently locked gate at the entrance to Whipsidery Beach

“At the moment the signage and fencing is there to discourage people from walking on the beach and approaching the foot of the cliff and most seem to respect that. Now I am fully aware that surfers use the steps going around the fence, they are not putting themselves in danger, you were able to advise me when I spoke that the steps are not the problem, only the rock and any other rock falls, all the surfers want to do is surf, not to sit at the bottom of the rocks, so I think we can all agree that they are not a problem.
