Three-vehicle crash in Cornwall has caused the closure of the A30

A three-vehicle crash closed the A30 near Penzance yesterday evening, Tuesday 4 June. Police were called at 5.10pm to reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the A30 outside Penzance.

The main route was completely closed at the Trenear roundabout. The road was closed for over an hour while emergency services attended.




Devon and Cornwall Constabulary’s Force Incident Manager (FIM) told CornwallLive that the crash involved three vehicles. No one is believed to have suffered serious injuries in the impact.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police told CornwallLive that the A30 was closed following a multi-vehicle crash. They said: “Police were called at 5.10pm on Tuesday June 4 to a multi-vehicle collision on the A30 at Penzance. Minor injuries were reported. The road was closed in both directions at the Trenear roundabout. The A30 was fully reopened at 6.50pm.”
