Jet2 is issuing a summer warning to all passengers at Manchester Airport

Jet2 has issued a warning to all passengers traveling to and from Manchester Airport this summer.

Ahead of what is expected to be an extremely busy few months for international travel, Jet2 has issued a number of alerts for those going abroad. One such update warns passengers at Manchester Airport of road closures, with travelers advised to “please allow plenty of time”.




The alert on the Jet2 website says: “We have been advised that roadworks between junctions 5 and 6 of the M56, starting on Monday 10 June, are expected to be completed by the end of August 2024.

“There will be closures of the M56, please refer to National Highways for specific closure dates and times during this time frame. Deviations will be clearly signposted during this time.

“Please allow sufficient time to travel to Manchester Airport as all Jet2.com flights are due to operate as scheduled.”

All Jet2 passengers are also advised to check its website “at least 12 hours before the flight for the latest flight information” and to arrive at the “departure airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure “.
