Woman stabbed to death in South Pasadena home – Pasadena Now

Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman who was found inside a South Pasadena home Wednesday.

The stabbing was reported at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at 820 Brent Ave., near Mission Street, where South Pasadena Police Department officers found the victim, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Deputy Tracy Koerner told City News Service.

NBC 4 reported that the victim, who was in her 70s, was found by her grandchildren who were doing a welfare check on the home.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s department will assist South Pasadena police with the investigation into the woman’s death, Koerner said.
