MK Dons prepare for 2024/25 with pre-season friendlies – News

MK Dons are pleased to announce a series of pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Mike Williamson’s side are set to face Barnet on Saturday 13 July before traveling to Germany for pre-season training. A game against a German team will be announced soon.

On their return to the UK, the Dons travel to Chelmsford on Wednesday 24 July and Wealdstone on Saturday 27 July.

MK Dons will then play back-to-back matches at Stadium MK against Championship opposition, with Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle visiting on Tuesday 30 July and Saturday 3 August respectively.

Both games will give Mike Williamson the opportunity to assess his players against two strong sides in front of a Stadium MK crowd before the start of the league season on Saturday 10 August.

Tickets for both home games go on sale on Monday 10 June. You will be able to purchase tickets from the Box Office and online, with discounts available to season ticket holders if purchased in advance.

Season ticket holders can purchase tickets priced at £10 adults, £8 adults, £8 under 25s, £5 under 21s and £1 under 14s, while general sale tickets are priced at £12 adults, £10. over 65s, £10 under £25, £6 under 21 and £1 under 14.

Ticket details for away matches will be confirmed in due course.

The MK Dons Academy will also take part in a thorough pre-season schedule with games against Newport Pagnell Town, AFC Rushden and Diamonds, AFC Dunstable, Aylesbury United, Banbury United and Biggleswade Town. While these games will mainly be used for academy players, some first team players are also expected to feature.
