New 24/7 helpline to help Bradford businesses stay safe

A new 24-hour helpline is to come into effect for Bradford businesses.

Bradford Business Improvement District (BID) members will soon receive the ‘Command and Intelligence Centre’ helpline.

The initiative will help businesses ensure that any issues affecting them are captured, logged and processed to the relevant services.

There will also be follow-up visits by the IDB team to ensure that action has been progressed and to provide updates.

Bradford BID, the not-for-profit organization which represents almost 600 member businesses in the city centre, is pioneering the scheme as part of a number of initiatives to be launched this year.

The team will focus on creating a safe and positive environment in the city center as outlined in the BID’s second term business plan.

Nikki Chadburn, the BID’s business communications manager, said: “We are committed to making Bradford city center an even safer place to live, work and visit.

“This dedicated helpline is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring our members can be confident that when they share information or seek advice and support, there is someone to triage the call and ensure that is charged accordingly. “

The helpline is in partnership with Argenbright Security Europe Limited.
