Essential work to take place on Enfield’s water network | News

Uisce Éireann is carrying out essential works on the water mains in Enfield tomorrow, Thursday 6 June and a supply interruption is required to facilitate the work.

Uisce Éireann’s Matt Thomson promises local homes and businesses that every effort will be made to minimize the impact of the works and restore water supplies as quickly as possible.

We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and cooperation during this essential work.

From 10pm Thursday night June 6th to 1am Friday morning June 7th homes and businesses in Johnstown, Johnstown Way, Gleniden Court, Enfield Main Street, Baynefield, Innfield, New Inn, Coachyard, The Park, Blackwater, Delmere, Posseckstown , Blackwater, New Road, Glen Abhainn, Moyfenrath, Royal Oaks, Newcastle Woods, Rathdown and surrounding areas may be affected by reduced water pressure or power outages.

Following the work, it may take two to three hours for normal water supply to be restored to all customers as the network is replenished. As the water supply is restored, there may be some short-term increased cases of discolored water.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
