Live traffic updates from Leicestershire as ‘road incident’ closes busy road

A “road traffic incident” has led to the closure of a roundabout in Leicestershire, police said. The Nottingham Road roundabout and the A511 in Ashby is closed in all directions this morning (Thursday 6 June).

Traffic tracker INRIX also reports that the A511 is closed in both directions due to an ‘accident’ from the A42 J13 at Nottingham Road. Leicestershire Police provided the update on X, formerly Twitter, at 8.40am.
