Sheffield United risk losing the left-back for nothing this summer, with his contract at Bramall Lane set to expire at the end of the month. He has yet to put pen to paper on an extension, which means he is set to become a free agent on the status quo.

Lowe, 27, has been on the books for South Yorkshire since joining them in 2020 and has made 53 appearances in all competitions to date, scoring just one goal. He also had a loan spell at Nottingham Forest a few years ago in the Championship.

In this latest update on his situation from Football Insider, he is wanted by Everton as they plan potential additions under Sean Dyche. An unnamed top team is also believed to be in the market for his signature, so he has a big decision to make regarding his future.
