Royal Enfield files trademarks for 2 new logos

Royal Enfield has filed trademarks for two new logos, one for a badge and the other for a new typography logo. Trademarking these logos doesn’t really confirm new products, as we’ve seen in the past.

The first logo is very similar to the tank badge that we have seen on some variants of the Interceptor 650 and Classic 350. It has been submitted in black and white so that Royal Enfield has the freedom to change the colors as they wish in the future. .

The second is a letterpress logo with ‘Royal Enfield’ written in italics and is more likely to be used for the brand’s range of apparel and merchandise. The logo is also quite similar to the English ‘Royal Enfield’ range of bicycles from ‘The Enfield Cycle Company Limited’ from the late 1800s. This logo could be one of the ways the brand pays homage to its rich history . Plus it would look really cool on a t-shirt, wouldn’t it? But if Royal Enfield started making bikes again, we really wouldn’t mind. Maybe an electric bike? Who knows.
