Taylor Swift fans are already queuing as drone footage shows preparations for her first UK concert

Taylor Swift’s first fan is already queuing outside her first UK show TWO DAYS early – as drone footage shows preparations underway. The superstar singer, 34, will kick off The Eras’ sell-out UK tour at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on Friday.

Drone footage taken today (Thursday) shows workers preparing for a three-hour concert – where Taylor performs more than 40 songs. Fans even started camping out to secure the best spot for the concerts.

Ellie Poulter, 19, is the first person to start queuing – arriving this morning (6) with her tent – despite having tickets for Saturday’s show. The Scottish capital was gripped by Swiftmania ahead of the shows, with huge signs in shop windows welcoming fans to the city.

Shops sold ‘in my Swiftie era’ T-shirts and the arena renamed its Scottish Gas sponsorship to ‘Scottish Lass’. Ellie said: “I think I’m the first person to start camping – there’s just nobody here.

“I thought people would go to the camp because people were queuing up for the shows in Paris for two nights. So I thought I was going to camp the week before, but no one else was doing that, so I thought two days would be fine. camp for so long.

“I’ve got a tent and I’ve got a duvet and that’s it apart from clothes – I’ve got nothing and I didn’t come prepared at all. I have a hotel for the night of the show, so I’m basically going to throw everything in there and get ready, so I don’t have anything on me.”

Ellie has only ever seen Taylor perform when she came as a special guest at the 1975 concert last year. She says she thinks it will be “a mess” when the singer takes to the stage on Saturday and can’t wait to hear the singer’s 2017 album Reputation live.
