Huddersfield fire live as residents warned to ‘keep windows closed and stay inside’

A large fire has broken out in Huddersfield as firefighters urge residents to keep their windows closed.

Several fire crews are currently attending the scene on School Lane in Kirkheaton where the fire broke out. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently urging all residents to keep their doors and windows closed.




This is due to the large amount of smoke in the air. The fire service said there are currently no reports of injuries.
