Britney Spears Confuses Fans As She Shares Sketch Of Birmingham Bullring And St Martin’s Church

Britney Spears has baffled fans with a recent Instagram post featuring an apparent sketch of Birmingham landmarks.

The US pop singer, 42, shared a photo of the image with the caption: ‘Just a pen and a church!’

The sketch appears to depict the Birmingham city skyline, with St Martin’s Church and Selfridges in the Bullring shopping center visible in the background.

Commenting on the post, one fan expressed confusion over the inclusion of landmarks in the pop star’s drawing.

They shared on X, ex-Twitter: “Britney Spears posted a sketch she did of Birmingham Choir Arena was not something I expected to see.”

“Why did Britney Spears post a hand drawn picture of Birmingham on Instagram, may I ask!?” remarked another.

A third joked: “Britney Spears drawing the Birmingham bullring sent me to the moon.”

Arenul posted the drawing on his Instagram account, alongside a real image of the iconic sites. In a playful nod to one of her most famous songs, they captioned the post: “Sketch me baby one more time!”

Spears’ social media activity comes as it was announced that her ex-husband Sam Asghari will be joining the cast of The Traitors US.

The third season of the reality show, which is hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming, has a similar format to the BBC psychological series and is set in a castle in the Highlands, but features celebrities instead of members of the public.

Asghari, who was listed as an actor in the promo for the upcoming installment, and Spears tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at the American singer’s home in Los Angeles in June 2022 after meeting on the set of her Slumber Party video in 2016.

Their wedding was attended by high profile celebrities including Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton.

Asghari and Spears announced their separation in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” in their files, and their divorce was expected to be finalized later this year.
