‘Oh gosh!’ – A Liverpool teenager blasted the coaching staff in training after his first senior call-up

Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas stunned the players and coaches in Wales during a recent training session.

Koumas was handed his first senior call-up to the Wales squad by manager Rob Page last month and is expected to be in the squads for the upcoming friendlies against Gibraltar and Slovakia.




The call-up comes at the end of a season in which the 18-year-old not only made his first-team debut for Jurgen Klopp, but also scored his first senior goal for the club during the 3-0 win. Southampton in the FA Cup.

And in a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Koumas can be seen going through a shooting drill during training and as one of his efforts flew into the net, a voice could be heard in the background shouting, “Oh, sir. !”

Just a few weeks ago, Page explained why he decided to name Koumas in his Wales squad. He said: “How can I ignore him when he has done what he has done for Liverpool in the first team?

“It would be foolish to ignore him. I have to use this window that we have to see him work and see him train.
