Sheffield shooting: Two more men charged as woman injured after shots fired

Police have charged two more men after shots were fired in the Batemoor area of ​​Sheffield last month.

Police were called on May 13 at 11.20pm to reports of shots fired on White Thorns View. Armed officers and the National Police Air Service went to the scene. It is reported that an altercation took place between a group of men and a 41-year-old woman, where the woman suffered a suspected stabbing.




The shots are believed to have been fired after this altercation. The woman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing, and no one was injured in the spill.

Aiden Taylor, 22, of White Thorns Drive, was charged with wounding with intent, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm . He was remanded in custody following his appearance at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court yesterday (June 5).

Nicolas Jepson, 41, of White Thorns View, was charged with wounding with intent, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was remanded in custody following his appearance at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today (June 6).

These bring the total number of charges in connection with the investigation to four.
