Police seize a Fiat 500 believed to be linked to drug dealing in Bradford

POLICE have seized a Fiat 500 which was allegedly linked to drug dealing in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police’s Shipley Neighborhood Policing Team (NPT) were on patrol in the Wrose area on Wednesday when officers received reports that the occupants of a vehicle had been seen acting suspiciously in the local area.

The team, together with a special agent, stopped a white Fiat 500.

The car and occupants were searched.

A spokesman for the team said a large amount of drugs and a large amount of cash were found.

Further checks also revealed that the car was not insured.

The police picked up the Fiat 500 and the driver was charged for the alleged crime as a result.

Both occupants were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

A team spokesman said: “A case will be prepared for the court.”
