The Batman Unmasked exhibition is coming to Manchester

This year Manchester, as well as London, will welcome Batman Unmasked – a journey through an elaborate collection of Batman items from the famous Warner Bros archives, giving fans an exclusive opportunity to experience the cinematic world of Batman like never before.

Opening at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot on July 16 and running until August 26, Batman Unmasked will then descend on London’s Covent Garden from September 6 to November 3, allowing fans to celebrate Batman Day at the London experience from September 21.

The experience brings the cinematic world of Batman to UK fans to celebrate the 85th anniversary of DC’s Caped Crusader throughout 2024.

Captivating Batman fans of all ages, Batman Unmasked will take guests on a thrilling journey through the Caped Crusader’s legendary film history as they explore an extensive collection of original props and costumes from Warner Bros. films. Pictures including “Batman” (1989), “Batman Forever” (1995), “Batman & Robin” (1997), “Batman Begins” (2005), “The Dark Knight” (2008), “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012), ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016), ‘Justice League’ (2017), ‘Joker’ (2019) and ‘The Batman’ (2022).

Navigating through a series of themed rooms, visitors will venture into the world of Gotham City. Guests will admire stunning costumes worn by iconic actors such as Robert Pattinson, Christian Bale and Michael Keaton, alongside original props and memorabilia. A selection of original vehicles will be on display in each city, including the Tumbler and Batpod from ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008) and the Batmobile and Batcycle from ‘The Batman’ (2022).
