Call after City Park Assault, Bradford

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attack in City Park, Bradford, on Saturday afternoon. (May 4)

Police were called to reports of a fight around 2.10pm.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries.

Two women were arrested at the scene and have since been charged.

Jana Horvathova, 19 of Market Street and Ruzena Horvathova 57 of Market Street were charged with assault
grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court on May 6 and the 19-year-old was remanded in custody and the 57-year-old bailed.

Both are due to appear at Bradford Crown Court on June 4.

Inquiries into the altercation are ongoing at Bradford CID.
