Ronan Keating will headline Leicester Racecourse’s ‘unforgettable’ Ladies Day

Pop star Ronan Keating is among the treats at this year’s Ladies Day at Leicester Racecourse. BBC Radio 1 legend Chris Moyles is also on the bill for the “unforgettable” event.

Ronan, who found fame in Boyzone and later went on to have a successful solo career, will be among the stars to perform at Leicester Racecourse next Saturday (June 15) for his Ladies Day extravaganza. The day is set to boast “extraordinary” events that go beyond racing at Oadby’s Leicester Road site.

Alongside headliner Ronan, the rest of the line-up will feature iconic 00s boy band Blue and X-Factor winners Rak-Su will also be on the bill to delight fans.

Elsewhere, BBC Radio 1 legend Chris Moyles, who now hosts his own show on Radio X, will also be on Ladies Day. He’ll be performing his 90s Hangover Tour set – a DJ show full of the biggest tracks from the 90s, curated by Chris and his fans.

While the day “isn’t just about the races”, according to organizers, it will also host a “Best Dressed Competition”, so people are encouraged to dress up their necks for the occasion. Punters will also have the chance to win ‘amazing’ prizes on the day and enjoy the thrill of some of the day’s racing.

Doors open at 12:00 and Rak-Su starts the day’s entertainment at 12:30. Ronan Keating will then close out the day following the final race, his slot set to start at 9.15pm.
