Man United fan Luke Littler gives priceless reaction to being booed as Leeds boy Luke Humphries enjoys hero’s welcome

Luke Littler relished his role as pantomime villain as Premier League Darts rolled into Leeds.

The 17-year-old sensation is clearly inspired by his favorite team, Manchester United, having learned to accept the scrutiny that comes with being one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Taking to the stage at the First Direct Arena, Littler knew he would get a hostile reception given the intense rivalry between the Red Devils and city club Leeds United.

It prepares for entry ahead of its quarter-final clash with Peter WrightLittler could be seen holding his ear in anticipation of the boos from the crowd.

Once they started, he could be seen saying “there we go” due to the inevitable nature of the stick he received.

While Littler was the villain of the game in Leeds, Luke Humphries was very much the hero on his return home.

The Leeds-born star is a huge Leeds United fan and teased the prospect of a new entrance piece for his outing at the First Direct Arena, something that did not disappoint.

Taking to the stage in a blue and white top in tribute to Leeds United, Humphries made his way on stage to the sound of Kaiser Chiefs’ ‘I Predict A Riot’ – a sure hit with the Leeds fans. their own association with Yorkshire Town.

Both Littler and Humphries advanced to the Night 15 semifinals after defeating Wright and Rob Cross respectively.

In the final four they prepared to face each other Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith for a place in the evening final.
