Nuneaton Carnival 2024 this Sunday – every detail, including the new start time

The countdown is now over for Nuneaton Carnival 2024. One of the biggest events in the town’s calendar takes place on Sunday (June 9).

A lot of preparation has gone into the event, with the carnival committee spending the last few days putting up banners around town. They hope to make this the “biggest and best” event yet.

This year’s theme is ‘Around the World’ and will see a number of floats and participants taking to the streets on foot. They will be armed with buckets to collect donations, which will this year be given to the charity People in Action.

In preparation for the big day, CoventryLive has compiled a list of everything you need to know about the big day. It is as follows:

New start time

Unlike previous years, when the procession started at 1 p.m., there is a new start date for this year’s carnival. The procession will start, instead, at 12:00.

It will start at Caldwell Road and go to Avenue Road to officially start.

Road closures

Due to the earlier start time, road closures will also start earlier. They will be in place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
