Trinity Street live while the area is cordoned off and firefighters tackle the blaze

Firefighters have cordoned off a city center street following an incident this morning (June 7). Crews were seen on Trinity Street.

Crews from Coventry Fire Station were called to the scene at around 9.20am. They remain at the incident near the Chicken Cottage and The Flying Standard.

West Midlands Fire Service said they were responding to a property fire in a laundry. Fire crews are working to extinguish the blaze with a cordon erected around the scene.
