TAKE They were forced out of a luxury hotel in Manchester after David Beckham demanded the place’s best room.

The legendary British music group – Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – was not happy about being uprooted, but had to give in to Becks’ global stardom.

A source said: “Take them where I live luxurious during their tour in the nicest hotel in town, but had to move on after a bigger star came to town.

“They’re a bit upset about it, but David Beckham gets what he wants. They still have a few more rounds to go in Manchester, but now they’ve settled into the new one.”

Becks is in town for the premiere football documentary movie 99, telling the story of Manchester United’s historic treble victory in 1999.

He was pictured tonight in a suit and boots with his former teammate Gary Neville.

An unknown musician stepped in to save the day with only 30 minutes notice.

Daniel Rooney, 26, was given the chance to have some facelift time following the misfortune of new dad Murs.

Daniel had performed at a hotel near the Hydro in Glasgow when news about Olly broke.

Telly host Ross King he happened to be in the bar and when Take That friend Gary jokingly asked if he knew of any singers available at short notice, he told him about Daniel.

In one hour, he performed for 14,000 fans.

Daniel said: “It’s hard to take, it’s surreal.

“That was fast.

“I met Gary and the guys 20 minutes before we went on and talked about what songs to do.

“It was great, I got good chants with the crowd and I felt like they were behind me.”

Ahead of the tour which started last month, band leader Barlow saw his home broken into by thieves.

The gang pounced on the £6million pile a day after the group starred in the penultimate episode of the latest series.

They waited until after dark before forcing the property’s front gate onto the main road of a southern village England.

It is understood that singer Gary, 53, did not know there had been a break-in until the following day, on April 8, when police were alerted.
