A man was rushed to hospital after a car and bike crash on a Wiltshire road

A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a bike in Wiltshire.

Police rushed to the scene of a crash between a bike and a car on Station Road in Westbury shortly before midday on Thursday, June 6.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital for treatment after suffering injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police attended the scene, but no arrests were made.

Traffic maps indicate that traffic is moving along the route again at the time of writing.

A spokesman for the force said: “We responded to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle on Station Road, Westbury, at around 11.50am this morning (Thursday).

“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

“No arrests have been made.”
