The Coventry Lexus “lost control and crashed into a concrete bollard” on Corporation Street

A car crashed into a concrete bollard after it apparently went out of control. It was reported to have happened on Corporation Street.

A man was reportedly driving the car when it allegedly crashed into a concrete bollard opposite the Belgrade Theatre. His Lexus landed on top of the bollard, positioned at an angle, according to a picture obtained by CoventryLive.

Councilor Bally Singh said the incident happened at around 8.30pm on Wednesday (June 5). The car allegedly “lost control”, causing it to crash into the bollard next to Charles Ager.

CoventryLive understands the driver of the Lexus was uninjured. No one else was believed to have been injured.
