Taylor Swift Eras Tour: How to snap up remaining tickets as UK shows start tonight

UK Swifties are set to live out their ‘Wildest Dreams’ this June as pop sensation Taylor Swift finally lands on British soil. The top star is set to mesmerize fans over a three-night run at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

Even though the Eras Tour officially kicks off tonight, Friday June 7, it won’t be a ‘brutal summer’ for fans as there are still plenty of tickets available on resale sites. However, concert-goers are being warned about potential scams, with Viagogo stepping in to offer the cheapest and safest tickets, ensuring fans don’t miss out on the fun.

According to Sporting News, the average price of a ticket to see Taylor Swift perform live is around £500. As someone who suffers from FOMO (fear of missing out) but is on a tight budget, I decided to hunt down the most affordable tickets on the trusted resale site Viagogo.

Viagogo assures customers with their ticket guarantee: “When you buy tickets on Viagogo, viagogo guarantees that you will receive the tickets you paid for in time for the event. In the rare event that a problem occurs and the original ticket seller does not provide you with the tickets listed for sale, Viagogo will, at its discretion, review tickets at comparable prices and provide you with replacement tickets at no additional cost, or Viagogo will issue you a refund for the cost of the tickets.”

If you’re planning to catch Taylor Swift in Edinburgh this week, the cheapest ticket on Viagogo will set you back £199 for a seat with a clear view. Fans living in Bristol can catch a short last minute flight to Edinburgh with prices starting from £144.

Meanwhile, at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium, tickets cost £265 on Saturday 15 June. Standing options are now priced at £362 each. Cheap flights from Bristol to Liverpool start from £102 on Friday 14 June.

Swift’s next stop is Cardiff’s Principality Stadium (Millennium Stadium), where seated tickets on Viagogo cost £284 each and standing £379. From Bristol to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, National Express offers coach travel for £29.

Finally, if you want to see her in London, the most affordable day is Sunday 23 June, with tickets costing £317 each, but this allows you to buy two seats together. National Express offer coach tickets from £3.90 direct to the capital.
