Royal Cornwall Show in pictures

The Royal Cornwall Show enjoyed another fantastic day today (Friday 7th June), the second day of the three day event. With over 100,000 people attending each year, the annual show is the biggest event in the Cornish calendar.

The Royal Cornwall Show is held at the Royal Cornwall Events Center in Wadebridge and can be traced back to the Cornwall Agricultural Society which was founded in 1793. Today the show is much more than just an agricultural event, although farming and animal husbandry are still in her heart.

With perfect weather on the second day, with some sunshine and a refreshing breeze, the showground was packed with visitors throughout the day. Popular as ever were the performances by the JCB Dancing Diggers and the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team.

However, the traditional attraction of showcasing farm animals and horses was as popular as ever, with crowds enjoying the judging.
