He was predeceased by his wife, Cathy Boles, and parents, John Binette and Hilda Stang.

Donny is survived by sisters Barbara Binette and Brenda Stang. He is also survived by his niece Danielle Dionne (Clayton), and his great-nephew Daxton, and his nephew (son-in-law) Frank L’Ecuyer (Kinga).
