“Full-time idiot” Dan Walker loses his wallet – before finding it in the most unlikely of places

Dan Walker declared himself a ‘full-time idiot’ after misplacing his wallet. The 47-year-old TV presenter shared the funny anecdote with his followers on X.

He explained that he couldn’t find his wallet and spent more than an hour retracing his steps trying to find it. He searched his car and garden trying to find her. He finally found it – in his freezer.

“I lost my wallet yesterday! I spent more than an hour retracing each step. I cleaned the car, went around the garden with a flashlight… finally found it… in the freezer. #FullTime Idiot,” he explained to X, before adding, “Best pun wins a chocolate ice cream.”

And there were puns – lots of them, in fact. “You know where to find us, Dan,” said the Specsavers opticians, before @andyhersh said: “I’ll lend you a few quid if your card’s been frozen.”

“Have you been advised to put your money in an ice box?” asked @gvigary. “Puts a new twist on the phrase cold hard cash,” said @martinlong87.

“Funds have been temporarily frozen,” @gazpunch joked, while @rosscodw said: “My way of freezing spending.”
