Day two of the Royal Cornwall Show in pictures

Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual three-day event

The second day of the Royal Cornwall Show is underway after officially kicking off on Thursday (June 6, 2024).

It is the biggest event in the Duchy’s agricultural calendar and organizers say they expect thousands of people to attend.

The event runs until Saturday June 8 at the Royal Cornwall Events Center near Wadebridge.

Farmers say the annual event highlights the importance of the industry.

Shaun and Emma showed the sheep at the Show: “The general public can walk around, see the different breeds. It brings together the city and the county and promotes agriculture.

“It doesn’t matter what background you come from, you can join in and people will show you around and help you.”

Last year, 118,201 people visited the three-day event.
