Keith Lemon suffers a stroke as ITV ax another show from the Leeds star

Keith Lemon has been dealt a blow with the Leeds comedy star quitting his ITV show.

It has been confirmed by the broadcaster that there are currently no plans to make a new series of Shopping With Keith Lemon. The program led by Keith, real name Leigh Francis, 51, began in 2019.

It ran for four series on ITV2 and was also available on ITVX. In the programme, celebrity guests joined keen shopper Keith on the high street to shop and gossip.

Celebrity guest appearances included Mel B, Amanda Holden, Olly Murs and Danny Dyer among others. As reported by Metro, a spokesperson said: “There are no current plans for a new series, but the show will continue to have a regular presence on both ITV2 and ITVX with repeat programming.”

In 2022, it was confirmed that ITV had axed the Keith Lemon-fronted Celebrity Juice. Earlier this year, while promoting his comedy tour, we chatted with the late Celebrity Juice star.

Keith said: “People are saying you’re bringing it back and I’m a bit like ‘it’s only been off for a year’. He’s still not coming back and I don’t think he will, but never say never because if he asked me, I’d say yes in a heartbeat.”
