The Chase’s Paul Sinha hits back at player after ‘insult’

The Chase’s Paul Sinha hit out at a player during Thursday’s episode of the popular ITV game show.

Four new contestants were welcomed into the ITV studio by host Bradley Walsh. They were Stan from Derby, Joe from Newcastle, Prathi from Shifnal and June from Stevenage.

Although they’ve never met before, they’ve teamed up to take on one of Britain’s biggest brains and hopefully take home loads of cash.

Stan was first, answering an impressive seven questions correctly during his cash-generating round. When The Chaser came to be revealed, it turned out to be The Sinnerman, who made Stan three deals.

These were £1,000, £7,000 or £30,000. Stan consulted the rest of the team, and Joe called the low bid an “insult.”

But The Sinnerman hit back and said, “Joe, £1,000 is no insult. It’s a lesser offer, I don’t know what you expect us to do. £16,000 is that what you wanted as a lower offer? “

Stan took £7,000 and successfully made it back to the team with the money.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
