21 pictures as a village transformed by knitted creations

A village was transformed by over 100 colorful knitted masterpieces.

Formby today (Saturday 8th June) hosted an event to mark International Yarn Bombing Day. The annual event brings together knitters and crocheters to adorn public spaces with vibrant yarn creations.

The event, which has been held in Formby for the past two years, is back “bigger and better than ever” for its third edition, organized by volunteers from Imagine Formby, a community interest company (CIC) set up to revitalize the town .
