Don’t miss this weekend at Canada’s largest outdoor student-run new car show at Georgian’s Barrie Campus, June 7-9.

The annual Georgian College Auto Show is organized by students enrolled in Automotive Business School of Canada (ABSC) programs under the leadership of five dedicated student directors who manage all show duties including marketing, sponsorship, recruiting, event logistics and more .

“We are very excited to host this year’s motor show. Every student director has worked so hard to make this year the best Georgia College Auto Show yet,” said Luke Reymer, Director of Media Relations and Marketing and ABSC student. “There are quite a few new attractions at this year’s show and we can’t wait for the community to come check it all out.”

This year’s theme is Redline Revolution to showcase how far the automotive industry has come and the new technology it has to offer, while celebrating the exciting history of gas engines.

The Georgian College Auto Show – now in its 36th year – attracted more than 11,000 visitors from across Ontario this past weekend. Guests can expect the Barrie campus to be buzzing all three days.

“Being a director at the Georgian College Auto Show is an amazing opportunity to grow as a student and automotive professional and make great connections,” said Reymer. “You learn a lot about what it’s like to manage a large event and it’s an invaluable chance as an Automotive Business student to get hands-on learning experience working closely with car brands, community partners and suppliers.”

The car show is on Friday from noon to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm

Entry is free for those aged 12 and under. General admission tickets are $10 and the exotic car experience is an additional $5.
