Wigan Warriors completed their British rugby league haul today, lifting the Challenge Cup trophy after already collecting the World Club Challenge, the Super League title and the League Leaders’ Shield.

Warriors boss Matt Peet has lifted this Wigan side to greatness, such is their dominance.

Bevan French was sublime for an excellent Wigan whose tries came from the silky player as well as Zach Eckersley and captain Liam Farrell.

Warrington were unable to match that winning drive at Wigan, but Wolves boss Sam Burgess says going ahead with the Warriors for this coveted prize was a big step forward for his side.

With Burgess himself only 17 games into his senior coaching career, I think big things can be expected from his side going forward.

But at the moment, the day belongs to Wigan Warriors.

Thanks for joining us and see you next time.
