The deadline to apply for federal disaster assistance is July 15.

In the Attleboro area, assistance can be obtained from a Federal Emergency Management Agency office located at Bristol Community College at 11 Field Road in Attleboro.

Federal assistance may include subsidies for temporary housing, uninsured or underinsured home repairs, and personal property.

A grant can cover low-cost loans for uninsured property losses and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from a disaster.

Those who have suffered losses due to flooding can apply to FEMA by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
