Internationals: Jota scores again, mixed fortunes for Szoboszlai and Bradley

In the meantime, Dominik Szoboszlai led Hungary to a 3-0 home win over Israel.

The Reds midfielder was substituted just before the hour mark but confirmed after the game that his withdrawal was only a precaution in his side’s European Championship opener a week away.

Szoboszlai told M4 Sport: “I will be fine. My legs were a bit stiff, I didn’t want to take any chances, so I broke away.”

Elsewhere, Conor Bradley was taken off midway through the second half of Northern Ireland’s 5-1 defeat away to Spain.
