The ‘sad street dog’ is now unrecognizable just three months after being adopted

Sometimes all you need is love, and that was certainly the case with a “sad street dog” who was taken in by a rescue center.

The one from Maidan had dirty fur and full of vegetation when he was seen by the charity organization. He also seemed a bit shy and apprehensive around people.

But when a woman saw the dog’s pictures on Facebook, she knew she had to take a chance and decided to adopt. After the little one made it to his forever home, his life changed forever. Nowadays, the dog can be seen frolicking in the grass with a huge grin on his face. It also has a step-brother to play with and a cozy bed to snuggle up in.

Pictures of the heartwarming transformation were posted on Reddit with the caption: “From sad street dog to happy pet in three months.”

The post has since gone viral, garnering over 1,200 upvotes. Many also took the time to leave positive comments for the adopter.

One wrote: “So adorable. Thank you for taking care of him and giving him a wonderful home and family.” Another gushed: “He has such a personality! It shines through the photos. Thanks for rescuing him.”

And a third added: “Oh. What a sweetheart. I’m glad you were there to take this honey face and give it the love that all sweet chicks deserve.”

According to Dogster, there are currently around 100,000 homeless dogs in the UK. As seen in this story, adopting one could have a huge impact on the life of man’s best friend!
