Amadou Onana’s representatives approach Manchester United to find out their summer plans – Man United News And Transfer News

How do you convince a player to move to Manchester United when they don’t know who will be in charge of their selection?

The Peoples Person recently carried a report that United’s transfer window is in stop mode until the manager’s future is decided.

Since then, they have already missed out on Tosin Adarabioyo’s reported target to Chelsea and it has now reached a point where they are being urged by the players’ representatives for clarity.

GIVEMESPORT report that Amadou Onana’s representatives have contacted United to inquire about their summer plans.

The Everton midfielder could leave the club this summer as Everton struggle with financial concerns, making Jarrad Branthwaite also a target for United.

Onana and Branthwaite, incidentally, fill the two biggest holes in United’s squad – defensive midfielder and centre-back respectively.

While the field looks clear to pounce on Branthwaite – price talk aside – the race for Onana is much more complex.

The report states that Arsenal have already made contact with Onana’s representatives as they look to fast-track their plans.

United, meanwhile, remain adamant, prompting the player’s representatives to reach out instead and assess the club’s interest, hardly a confidence boost.

Bayern Munich are also in the race to sign the dynamic midfielder, so divergence from United could cost them another player if they don’t act decisively.

Next summer’s numbers will be the most crucial in the club’s history since Sir Alex Ferguson and starting with two goals down is not ideal.

The need of the hour is for INEOS to give fans and representatives of potential targets clarity on the manager’s future.

Even if it’s just done internally, something needs to be done so that the club can start and start planning with some kind of direction.

In a sport that moves so fast, you get left behind if you sit still and right now United look solidly frozen in place until Erik ten Hag’s future is resolved.
