35 of the best dressed on day two of Parklife 2024

It’s hard to believe, but we’re almost halfway through the second day of the Parklife festival. Britain’s biggest metropolitan festival is back with a bang – and only a little rain judging by the poncho.

However, it wouldn’t be a British festival without a little rain, and festival goers are quite experienced when it comes to delivering their best fashion looks even in adverse conditions. While they flooded the gates this morning, the rain failed to dampen the spirits or the trendy services.

Some major music acts will take to the stage today, with Doja Cat headlining The Valley tonight, while Kaytranada and TSHA take to the Parklife stage. Fans can also expect performances from ANOTR, Rudimental, Anne Marie, Uncle Waffles and Children of Zeus.

Also taking to the stage today will be Barry Can’t Swim, Anne Marie, Dom Dolla, Rich Reason, Loco Dice and Hannah Laing also performing on the seven stages dotted around Heaton Park throughout the day. You can find the full stage times for today here.

The first day of Manchester’s biggest festival brought with it plenty of bucket hats, two-piece cowboy boots in vibrant hues. But given the wetter start to proceedings, today’s fashion look had to be tweaked slightly, with ponchos, capes, hoods and any hat they could find becoming a vital addition.

Denim is back in full force, along with mini skirts, baggy laces and a hoodie or two. Many excited for the second day of music were patiently waiting to see headliners like Doja Cat and Kaytranada, but others were hoping to get there early to catch the likes of Ella Henderson, Child of Zeus, Shy FX and Horsegirl.

It will remain overcast and cloudy with a chance of rain throughout the day and temperatures will start at 11°, peaking at 12° between 3pm and 7pm and falling to 10° by the end of the night, reaching 9 ° at midnight. .

Heavy rain is forecast again at 10pm and is expected to continue following a 90% chance of rain forecast as the festival draws to a close, but these intrepid festival-goers have proven they are more than cut out for a little time rain.
