ITV’s Coronation Street’s Channique Sterling-Brown declares her love for her co-star in a special update

Channique Sterling-Brown has sent a heartfelt message to her Coronation Street co-star.

The actor is famous for her role as Dee Dee Bailey in the long-running soap. The character is at the center of a major storyline as she is unknowingly in a relationship with Cobbles’ new villain, Joel Deering.

It was revealed that Joel was Lauren Bolton’s attacker and viewers are convinced that his reign of terror is far from over. However, Dee Dee has no idea about her partner’s sinister ways as the two got engaged in this week’s episodes.

Channique’s life away from the screen is thankfully less hectic as she keeps fans updated on Instagram. She enjoys a close friendship with her co-stars and took to the social media platform today to send Tanisha Gorey a special message to mark her birthday.

Tanisha plays Asha Alahan on the soap and turned 23 today. Channnique shared a photo of the two together to mark the occasion.

She said: “Happiest birthday to my baby girl. Thank you for everything you are, love I love you.”

Channique wasn’t the only Corrie star to send Tanisha a message on her special day. Millie Gibson said: “Happiest birthday to this special lady.”

Adam Hussain said: “Happy birthday sister.” Lucy Fallon posted: “Happy Birthday to the ultimate Queen of Day Killing and Disney Killing.”
