A 3-year-old boy fell to his death from a third-floor window in Manchester

MANCHESTER – A 3-year-old boy suffered major head and facial trauma when he fell from a third-story window Sunday, according to a news release from the Manchester Fire Department.

At 1:09 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to 150 Blaine St. for the fall and upon arrival found the father holding the child in the back of the house.

The man told crews he was the child’s father and advised the child fell from a 3rd floor window approximately 30 feet.

“The child had significant head/facial trauma so the Elliot trauma team was activated. The child was transported to Elliot by AMR and MFD personnel,” the statement said.

Manchester Police attended the scene and investigated. It appears to be an accident at this time, the statement said.
