Oliver Street gas leak prompts huge 999 response in Coventry

Firefighters, police officers and the ambulance service responded to reports of a gas leak on a Coventry street. It happened on Oliver Street at around 8pm last night (June 10).

Foleshill Fire Station Red Watch responded to a report of a gas leak at a property. Police officers and West Midlands Ambulance Service were also called to the scene.




A station spokesman said the occupants were out of the building when they arrived, firefighters had made sure the property was safe and contained the gas leak.

They returned to the station and left the other emergency services at the scene.
